We stayed at Pebble Isle Marina in New Johnsonville, TN last night. Tennessee has a lot of little, tiny towns known only to locals. I remember when we lived in Tennessee hearing about these wide spots in the road when severe weather struck. We’re in another tiny town named Clifton, TN alongside the Tennessee River about 70 miles north of Lake Pickwick where the Tennessee River and the Tennessee - Tombigbee Waterway join. At this point we’re about 320 miles from home port. We’re continuing to leapfrog over other Loopers. We passed two Loopers in route only to see them in the marina tonight. We’re cruising at about 18 kts / 20 mph and our fuel burn was 23 gph. We won’t need fuel until our next stop at Grand Harbor in Iuka, MS.

We’re in a covered slip tonight, the first time since Demopolis, AL in 2018! Rain is expected tomorrow and depending whether or not there are thunderstorms will determine if we move on or stay put. I don’t mind running in the rain, but electrical storms are something we try to avoid.
