Our departure date of 1 March is still looking good as of this AM. Recent rains have caused higher water, some minor flooding, and strong currents temporarily closing our first lock-through - Chickamauga Dam. We’re hopeful for drier weather over the next week. Temps have already moderated albeit too early for the season. High today should be in the upper 70’s! Normal high is closer to 60’.

We continue to provision the boat and last weekend I went through the mechanicals topping off fluids and resupplying extra for the trip. This weekend we’ll bring on final load of clothing. I feel like NASA before a space launch!
