Well, we’re back! After a six month hiatus at home, the weather has finally broken in northern Michigan and we’ve made our way back to Harbor Springs to resume our Loop. When I say the weather has broken you remember that things are relative.....where at home the a/c has been on for a couple weeks, here the temps are consistently in the 50’s, trees are budding and daffodils and tulips fill people’s gardens.

We arrived to the boat safely tied up near the spot we left it. After boarding we turned the marine cycle heat on and we had heat! Boats are slowly being launched and so far we are the only live aboard. We unloaded the car and began putting everything into its space. Problem is.....just where did we store it? Oh well, we’ll work on re-acclimating ourselves tomorrow.

We do have visitors, however, a pair of nesting Canada geese. Every time we walk by the couple, the male hisses and sticks out his tongue. Momma stays in the nest and only hisses. As long as they stay on their territory and don’t cross into mine everything will be fine.

More stuff to come. It’s been a long day and it’s time to go to bed. After all, it’s past Looper midnight!
