Had an uninterrupted nights’ sleep last night and felt much better today. Mom, too, had a good night and a quiet, peaceful and uneventful day. It’s time to start focusing on our travel schedule and weather window. Although it appears our best weather window is to travel now, we’ve decided not to move on until Tuesday. That means we’ll return to the boat early Monday, check things over and clean the boat with departure for Sturgeon Bay or Sheboygan on Tuesday. Next week the weather looks suspect with windy conditions nearly every day forecasted to produce waves from 3-8’! And such is a boater’s life in September on Lake Michigan a/k/a Lake Washing Machine.

Mom’s condition has stabilized now, and contingent plans have been developed with Carolyn and Wayne. Mom is in good care and the rest is in God’s hand. More family is coming in tomorrow and so it will be another couple of busy days.

Thanks to all who have reached out to us offering your good wishes and prayers. It means a lot.

Today’s Mom Wisdom quote is : “Why is it that we remember or cherish the most the little things that are said, done or given? “
