Another cold start to the day but this time we needed only a jacket over long sleeve t-shirts and shorts. The wind is still up - mostly from the north to northeast around 10. - 15 mph, a mild breeze compared to the previous days! We took the inside pass on the GICW and made the trip in about 4 hours. About half of it was in a narrow channel of the ICW. At about the time we said, "This is boring", the bay opened before us, and we were able to go back on plane and zip to Bay Point Marina. Let me begin by saying Bay Point is well protected from westerly and northerly winds! Daniel, the harbor master, took our lines and gave us the low down. Apparently, there are two golf courses, a swimming pool, and restaurants all within walking distance nearby. I think we’ll have pizza tonight. Haven’t had that in a month!

The price break here was two weeks. You could stay for a month for the same price as two weeks. We chose the month arrangement since we’re going home Saturday for a week. I think I’ll return with golf clubs ;-)).

Enjoyed a great Italian wine on the boat last night - Gavi.

Tomorrow we’ll check out the marina and environs. Right now it’s beer thirty after washing the boat! Got to keep that salt spray off the fiberglass, etc.
