We were awakened by heavy rain and the push of strong winds about 0600 hrs. All the weather has done this morning is rain and blow. We’ve decided we’re going to stay put and wait a day before moving on to Chattanooga. The cold front is moving diagonally from the southwest to the northeast and I calculate that we’ll be following the front and would be in rain should we decide to leave once it stops raining here. Better to wait and travel in clear weather than press on in poor.
