Ran the outside today on a calm and flat Atlantic Ocean. Waves were less than 2 ft at 8 second duration. Sweet! No traffic, except for two ocean going ships and made the trip without a hitch. Good thing Fernandina Beach marina could not take us for two nights - they have no fuel! Had to travel a bit down the AICW to Amelia Island marina but they have fuel and it’s only a couple of miles to historic Fernandina. We’ll use the courtesy car to take us to dinner tonight at a little French restaurant in town, Le Clos. In town for two days then to St. Simons for the weekend.

Scrubbed down the boat today, first time in weeks. Boy what a difference. Going to have a toddy and get ready for dinner.
