We were exhausted! Set the alarm clock for 0430 and slept through it! Thankfully I rolled over and opened one eye at 0620, jumped out of bed and turned on our VHF radio for the 0630 update / agenda. The USACoE is recommending Loopers travel in smaller groups now after traveling through the Marseille Lock bottleneck. It was our intention to move on but we had not heard back about our requested slip reservation from the upcoming marinas. Plan B would be to anchor out and then I started thinking about our holding tank capacity and whether we could last several days without another pump out. I thought that if I could get a pump out within the hour we would be on our way and continue moving. Unfortunately, or fortunately, the attendant didn’t show for about 3 hours so that plan was shot. Instead, Barbara went to town with some of the lady Loopers and I hosed the boat down.

Went to dinner in downtown Ottawa at a local brew pub with several other Loopers - Dave & Penny from Southern Cross, Greg and Sonia from Golden Daze, Kim and Rick from Seabatical and Brenda and Bruce from B-Sides. Had a great time!
