Quiet stop as we back track our way to Chattanooga. We cruised fairly slowly today, about half the way on plane and the rest at 8 kts. This marina is located on the west side of the river and is slightly closer to Watts Bar Lock than Blue Springs Marina. One can tell the TN summer boating season is behind us - hardly any boats on the water today. This marina is family owned. It must be a popular spot to stop because it has an on-site restaurant (seasonal only - closed now!), swimming pool (also closed), and plenty of uncovered transient docking. We were able to secure covered docking simply because we entered the marina from the west entrance and were instructed to take a vacant covered slip. Although they said WiFi exists here, we've yet to find it! Instead, I'm operating on my cell phone (again).

Since we're back cruising, I would say that marina operators tend to underestimate the importance of good WiFi connectivity to transient boaters. It is particularly annoying in areas where cell service can be spotty.

We'll cook dinner onboard tonight and continue on way back to Chattanooga tomorrow morning.
