Working on acquiring AIS (Automated Identification System) for the chart plotter. AIS transmitter allows your boat to be “seen” by other boats equipped with an AIS receiver (required on all commercial vessels; optional on pleasure craft). This is important in high traffic areas such as commercial ports (Mobile Bay) and in areas with poor or limited visibility.
