Weather and river conditions appear to be best for a Friday, March 2 departure. Heavy rains have effected the TN River and caused the Tenn - Tom River to flood. I'm hopeful we'll be able to come behind the rains and high water conditions to progress down the Tenn - Tom. Loaded the boat with clothes this weekend. We'll be back to her on Wednesday with final preparations Thursday. I'm anxious to get started and get to some warmer weather.

Our initial plan is travel ~100 miles / day on the TN River and ~50 miles / day on the TN-Tom. If I can hold that rate we'll be in Mobile Bay in 10 days. Since we'll be traveling with the current I'm expecting excellent fuel economy!
